Politics
I don't really believe in politicians because they can lie about just about anything. I might have more of an interest if I knew what politician it was and what they believe in.
Abortion
I think that abortion is very wrong. I would never do anything like that because even though you might not have planned to get pregnant, you shouldn't take that out on the child by killing it.
Religion
There are people in the world who have all kinds of different beliefs. I don't think that there is anything wrong with people having different religious beliefs, maybe that's just how they are or how their family is.
Teen Pregnancy/Violence
I think that teen pregnancies are increasing every day. Some teens actually have babies on purpose, but i think that is actually can a bad decision to make since they aren't even out of school yet and some these boys that they are getting pregnant by don't even what to have anything to o with them or the baby.
Race in America
Race back in the day use to be alot worse than it is today. Back then, whites and blacks were separated. Now, they are all living in the same place,just about. Some people are still races,but i don't think that is a good thing. I actually think that is a bad thing because if they get a job, they have to work with a customers or get fired one of the two. If they were smart i think that they would make the right decision by getting over their races ways.

My Most Interesting Thanksgiving Experience

My most interesting Thanksgiving experience is when I went to Atlanta . I was at my Uncle house and I ate so much food that I could barely stand up. I ate about 3-4 plates of food, all though i ate all of that food it didn't go anywhere. That's one thing that I just love about being small I can eat as much as I want and not gain that much, if any. It was all worth it though because it was good and I was very hungry. After I ate, me and my cousin went upstairs and to watch TV and play on our Uncle's PlayStation 3. We had so much fun. I had on my brown boots and when I was trying to go down stairs I ended up tripping over my foot and and almost rolled down the stairs. it was really funny and me and my cousin both were just laughing, I was laughing so hard that my stomach started to hurt even worse. Over all, I had a really fun Thanksgiving and that was my most interesting Thanksgiving experience.

Ron Clark Story

I think that the movie encouraged many students that they can do alot of things. They also showed many adults tha if you just be patient and work with the students then they will do well and learn many new things as the go along. I think that the movie showed that Mr. Clark had faith in all the students in his class and he knew that by continuing to work with them, then they would learn that they could do anything if they just put their minds to it and if they just believe in themselves. The movie also, to me, showed that there were many people who din't have faith in those kids and by not having faith in them made them think that they could do it and achieve as many things as the other kids in the school.

Career Fair

The career fair that we went to at the Columbus Trade Center was fun and educational at the same time. I learned alot of things about Albany State University. I learned that it was founded in 1903 by Dr. Joseph Winthrop Holley. It was alot of new things that I didn't know about Albany State University that I didn't know that I learned on Thursday, November 5, 2009. They gave out door prizes and we played music and danced. It was a great experience and I enjoyed every part of it.

Leader/Servant

I think that I am both a leader and a servant, because I like to help people when they are in need and I have a really strong voice. I can be very loud so that everyone can hear what I have to say, but I can also be very quiet. I believe that by me being both a leader and a servant, that will help me later on in life because I am really good with helping people who are in need and I am very loud when necessary. Sometimes people take my quietness for granted and think that just because I am quiet I am not going to say anything to them, but if I get to a certain point I will say what I feel I should say to take up for myself.

CB&T Speakers

I think that the speakers from CB&T taught alot of new things that I didn't know. Mrs. Heather Horn talked to us about credits/savings. I learned that your credit is a big part of alot of things in your life. Mr. Kwame Smith talked to us about budgets. I learned that it is always best to have a budget. He had us do an activity, where we had to make a budget for our Prom. It was alot of fun and i learned many new things.

Geystone Properties

On Thursday, October 15, 2009 we had two guest speakers named Ms. Nikki and Ms. Mary. They talk to us about the things that you must have /know in order to get an apartment. I learned that if you are the leaseholder and you get in an argument, then you can take the occupant off the lease. They also taught us that if there are two people living in the apartment, and they both are leaseholders, then if the both of you get into an argument and one of you decide to leave, the other leaseholder will be stuck with the lease on there own and will still have to pay for the lease by themself. I think that they did a really good job and that I might want to apply for a job and work with them.

Respect

Respect is one of the main things that I think everyone should have. If you don't have respect then you don't have nothing. Respect is a big part of most people lives. In order to get respect, you have to give it. So in conclusion, I believe that every person should have respect for everybody.

Man charged in Lee deputy's death

A man named Gregory Henderson was accused of striking with his car and killing James Anderson, a Lee county deputy. He has been booked at least 16times before. If he is convicted he could face the death penalty in Alabama. He has been in and out of jail and prison since 1998. Henderson was sentenced 15 years and 3 to serve for a drug conviction. If he had served the full three years, he would still be in prison today and the deputy that he struck would probably still be living.

VMA (Kanye's Comment)

I believe that what Kanye West did was un-called for and he should not have done that. He wouldn't want anyone to do that to him, so he shouldn't do that to someone else. Taylor Swift deserves the same amount of respect for her time to speak just like anyone else. Beyonce did a good thing by letting Taylor come up when she won her award and let Taylor say what she was going to say before Kanye West rudely interrupted her. Even though Kanye apologized, what he did is still not going to change the fact of what he did.

In my opinion, I believe that President Barack Obama spoke an incredible speech. To me, it shows that he really cares about our education and wants us succeed. He didn't make that speech just so we could spend our time listening to him instead of doing something that we usually do, because if that was the case, then that doesn't show that he cares about us and our well-being, but I know that he does that is why I believe that what he said is all from his heart and because he wants all the kids to succeed in whatever it is that they are doing or what to do in life. I believe that he doing a good job so far as our President and I'm sure that he will with all these accomplishments he's making.

Woman set afire dies from injuries

A 42-year old woman was drenched with kerosene and died from injuries . Elisa Davenport died around 5p.m. on Saturday, August 29, 2009 at the Joseph M. Still Burn Center. 60 percent of her body was covered in burns. Athens-Clarke police are charging her boyfriend Phillip Scruggs with murder. He attacked Ms. Davenport because she was trying to leave from an abusive relationship that they had. Scruggs set Ms. Davenport on fire at 4 a.m. Bethel Midtown Village north of downtown.

Mohawk Haircut

I think that they are going overboard with the mohawk thing. People with mohawks are not doing harm to anyone. I feel that if someone whats to have a mohawk they should be able to, because thats just apart of them being themselves. They should not prohibit mohawks in school because it is un-called for.
